Funk Soul Media CIC delivered an engaging and empowering creative media workshop for the young people of the Armagh Road / Meadow CA. The young people developed new skills and built confidence by participating in a range of fun creative media activities such as; videography, rap freestyles and urban dance. The young people told us it felt great to experiment with some really cool camera technology and be part of a professional film crew for the evening. The young people were inspired by the Muzic Matterz artists who performed songs for them and inspired the participants to pursue their creative goals in life. The young people told us their confidence grew when they took part in the rap freestyle game and compliments rap battle. The young people were guided by the Muzic Matterz artists to write out raps complimenting their opponents. The young people told us they had really good craic doing this and it was great to have so much creative activities to do on a Thursday evening.
