Muzic Matterz is Newry, South Armagh and South Down’s fastest growing urban music collective. We are dedicated to being the platform from which young up and coming rap artists can pursue their music career goals. We pride ourselves in delivering high energy live performances as well as creating next level music and professional media productions.
We are passionate about promoting positive mental well-being to Ireland’s young people. We are inspiring younger generations from across the globe to pursue their creative destinies in life.
THE JOURNEY SO FAR
In January 2022 we could have never foreseen the monumental growth that Muzic Matterz would experience through out the year. From a weekly mental well being focused Zoom call for young local rappers to becoming Newry, South Armagh and South Down’s fastest growing urban music collective in one year is a truly outstanding achievement. The Muzic Matterz artists have headlined local events like Rapture Teens, Newry Council’s St.Patrick’s day concert and the Iur Cinn Fleadh Festival. The lads have even exported their rap talents and unique sound to the capital city Belfast performing an extended set for NI’s Hottest Rap Channel @hbe_uk.
Theses aspiring young rap artists have built a dedicated local following and produced a number of drill, bassline and commercial bangers that have inspired the growth of a fresh urban music scene in the City of Newry, South Down and South Armagh.
